Dear Sponsor,

Westchester County Clippers is a non-profit organization that could not exist without the continued generous support of our sponsors. We would appreciate your support, and we hope we can count on you this year. The team members of the Westchester County Clippers Baseball Club would like to extend an opportunity for you to help their team pursue their dream of competing against the finest players and teams in this area as well as the country. As you know, it takes a great deal of timeand money to organize and run a team such as the Westchester County Clippers Baseball Club. ?

With your support, we will be able to provide for the following:

  • Assist some players and their families who are financially unable to make the full financial commitment. (It costs each member hundreds of dollars to compete in this elite division. This does not include travel, food and lodging or family member expenses)
  • Pay for weekend team tournament fees throughout the fall, spring and summer months, (average team tournament fees range from $450 to $550)
  • Assist with umpire game fees
  • Pay for uniforms including shirts, hats, bags, etc.
  • Pay for practice field’s fees
  • Purchas basic team equipment and supplies such as bats and hard balls.
  • All donations to our organization are tax deductible. Our Tax ID number is: 01-0917971.

Team Philosophy
We aspire to create an environment that will allow the players to perform at the highest level of their abilities and to create memories that they and their families will look back on with great fondness and joy. ?            ?

To create such an environment, we believe that all players, coaches, parents and spectators have to conduct themselves in a manner that honors the game of baseball and reflects all the principles of good sportsmanship.?            ?

The basic philosophy of the Westchester County Clippers Baseball program is that we want to develop baseball players and mold them into the hardest playing group in travel baseball. We want to be able to take pride in the fact that no other baseball program will work harder than we do.?

This philosophy serves two purposes: First, by practicing and playing at a highly competitive level, we bring honor in a way that set us apart from the cultural norms and provides a visual example of excellence. Secondly, we believe that hard work teaches discipline and that discipline in turn teaches humility. In humility, we learn more and more of our own weaknesses, which teaches us to depend on each other.

MISSION
To establish a baseball program with a tradition of sustained excellence spiritually, academically, and athletically that is respected for its consistency and the character of its players.

VISION
We want to compete and be competitive at the State and National level. Most of all we would like to be the team that represents Westchester County, New York.
